Hi, I'm Jennifer Hacker

Certified Grief Specialist

Grief Relief Texts has helped me through one of the most challenging times of my life. As a hospice nurse, I thought I understood grief, but losing my husband brought a level of pain and loneliness I wasn't prepared for. This program became a lifeline when I needed it most.

I can't thank you enough for all of the support this week. Reading these texts help keep me "afloat" and not feel so alone and hopeless.  Thank you for the work you do.

You know You hope someday you'll be one of those evolved people... able to see the positive, running 5k's, and starting charities.

But right now, you feel lost and empty and you struggle more every day instead of less.

I understand feeling like this because I've been there.

That's how I know sometimes...

  • you wonder if maybe you've lost your mind
  • life feels unreal, like a dream or nightmare
  • it seems like there's been a glitch in the matrix

And to make things worse,

  • Your friends and family don't understand, "Shouldn't you be doing better by now?"
  • You don't have the time, energy, or money to hire a therapist or go to meetings.
  • And the online groups you joined... they're just depressing.

That's where I come in -- with grief relief texts.

I'll send 1-3 text messages each week straight to your phone. I'll include resources, tools, tips, motivation, and most of all, encouragement to support and sustain you through grief.

You CAN heal and find hope after the heartbreak of loss AND you won't forget your loved one in the process.

Regular, ongoing support and encouragement will allow you to make progress, one day at a time...  to move forward without  moving on

Regular support and encouragement... YES, PLEASE.

Wondering who'll support and encourage you?

Hi, I'm Jennifer

I'm a certified Life Coach and Grief Specialist.

When my infant son died in 2003, my world ended... but the rest of the world carried on as usual.

Over the course of many years I healed and learned how to be happy and fulfilled in life again. But getting there was a long, lonely road.

I want your road to be less long and less lonely.

There's an enormous lack of support for grievers in our society. That's why I'm here... to fill that gap.

My goal is to not only help you get through the hard days but also help you believe the burden of sadness will lift and you can find a new level of happiness and freedom on the other side of grief.

But first, you have to take a small step forward.

That’s why I created Grief Relief Texts – a simple text message service where I send you uplifting and inspirational messages weekly to give you hope.

You may not feel up to much else at this moment and that's okay. Let me be your support system for now.

Why Grief Relief Text Support?

Personal messages from someone who's been in your shoes

I don’t outsource this job to a virtual assistant or an agency. I write these messages myself … from my heart to yours.💗

I’ve lived through and studied grief and loss for 20 years. I share information from a large library of resources including my personal journals and emails, and countless online articles and books I've read (and continue to read🤓).

I've done all the research and the legwork so you don't have to.

Professional training and resources

I'm a certified Life Coach and Grief Specialist.

My professional training and experience means I have the resources, tools, and understanding to better connect with you, share with you, and support you in loss AND in life. ✨

You always have your phone with you ...

Maybe you’re using your phone to distract yourself from your big emotions - which is totally understandable.

Why not use it as a tool for healing too?

While I can't be there with you in person, I can be "in your pocket" to encourage you on your life and loss journey.

So thankful for your texts! They have always come at the most needed times and help my heart and mind so very much! May your heart be blessed and at peace for all you do to help others!!!!

What makes Grief Relief Texts stand out is its personal touch. Despite being a digital program, it felt like having a supportive friend who understood exactly what I was going through.

Messages to lift your spirits on the hardest days and remind you the sadness, fear, and anxiety... they won't last forever.

You will not be overcome.

Step-by-step, you'll find your way.

Thinking about doing something to feel better...

it might feel conflicting

Maybe you don’t want  to feel better because...

  • If you feel better, it means you're forgetting your loved one.
  • It makes you feel guilty.
  •  Holding on to the pain is the only way to stay connected to your loved one.

It's perfectly understandable to feel ALL these things.

But, a couple things to note ...

  • It's not true - you won't ever forget your loved one. You can feel better AND remember.
  • Your connection with your loved one will not be lost as you heal.
  • There's someone out there (probably lots more than one) who loves you and wants you to feel better ... Who wants you to muster up a little bit of courage and take a small step so you can start healing.

Maybe that small step is one you can take right now.

If you won't do it for yourself, will you do it for that someone who loves you?

  • If you want to make a donation or sign up free, you'll have both options when you click the Sign Me Up button.
  • If you want to sign up a friend or family member, please make sure you ask first if they want this service. Assuming they say yes, you'll need their email address and cell phone number to complete the process.
  • When signing up FREE, you will NOT be asked to provide payment information.

I know making decisions is hard when your brain is foggy or tired from grief. And asking for help, especially when you don't even know what you need - that's even harder.

I created this service to remove all the barriers...  so you can feel comfortable and safe and get started as quickly and easily as possible.

Please, take this step and I'll be there with you to help you navigate grief and learn how to move forward without moving on.

It's time to take the next step.

The text messages felt like they were sent just for me—offering comfort, motivation, and insight when I felt lost. They reminded me that I wasn’t alone in my feelings. Some days, those messages were the encouragement I needed to get through the day, and other times, they helped me see my emotions from a new perspective.

Valerie

You always give such loving and helpful words of encouragement and positivity. Thank you SO much!" 🙏

M. O.

Thank you so much for these messages. Your texts continue to give me new perspectives on grief and I truly appreciate it. They help me stop and think about things instead of pushing things away. I'm letting my grief have space.

Melissa O.

Your messages have given me such a different outlook on life. I'm so grateful and thankful.

A. M.

Thank you for your recent texts, especially the four truths from yesterday. I find them comforting.  And thanks for providing this outlet - it's nice to express my feelings here.
